To the Staff at the Davis Funeral Home ATTN: Robert   We wish to thank you all on behalf of Roger Franklin Flloyd to the kindness and respect shown our familt at this very sad time. You were so accommodating when we needed and then the wonderful display you set up showing the family pictures.   The extra touches like the candle and poetry on a small table near the casket - Thank you!   I also want to thank you in the way Rosul looked. He looked so natural and at peace. I'm afraid the last few days in the hospital his color was so pale. When I saw him at the Funeral Home he looked much like himself. Thank you.

Dear Bob, 

I want to thank you again for all your help in caring for my mother at the time of her passing. You are a very compassionate person and your thoughtfulness and kindness brhought great comfort to me. Strange as it may sounds, I will always have a good memory of your funeral home, remembering fondly and with love the day my mother and I first met you and you pulled us up to the attic in the elevator so that Frannie coul see her casket for herself,... nor will I forget your patience + respect when you gently and graciously replied to my mother's request to be buried with her shoes on. "With all due respect Mrs. Liva, where you're going you won't need your shoes!" I read on the funeral home's website how you volunteered to help identify remains after 9/11... I thank you are a very special person with gratitude.

It was so much easier for our family because everything you did your job so well. especially to those small details like adding boat and sails to the website. Jem would have loved it. 

Along the way of a long career in nursing, I've worked in educating RNS, LPNs and nursing assistants. While many things are taught, some of the qualities which are most impactant are within the person to begin with, and cannot be taught. You are a very special person Logan. We will always remember your wisdom and kindess, and your wonderful sense of what we needed.
