Name: Louis C. Benson Dates: Birth date: May 03, 1954 Death date: March 08, 2010 Obituary: Louis C. Benson was born May 3, 1954 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Cleve and Emma Benson. He was the youngest of nine children born to this union. Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death, Willie and Cleve benson, Lula Robinson, Emma Lowe and Gussie Vales. Lou moved several times, once to Cleveland and then to Boston and to Nashua, New Hampshire, where he resided until his passing. Lou confessed his hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was married to Suzanne Melanson in 1992. There were no children of this union. He was employed with Corporate Chefs as a chef for the last 20 years until his illness. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Suzanne Benson of Nashua, NH; three sisters, Eula Evans of Cleveland, Ohio, Rosa Benson and Carrie Powells of Montgomery, Alabama; a devoted mother-in-law Murial Miller; two loving sisters-in-law Erica DiFiore and Valerie Cote, all of New Hampshire and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He departed this life after hearing the Master call. Visitation: Visitation will be 10 am - 12 noon, Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, NASHUA, NH. Service: A Funeral Service will follow visitation at the Funeral Home at 12 noon, Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Cemetery: Interment Prayer and Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave., Hyde Park, MA. |
