Name: John F. Keigher Dates: Birth date: May 29, 1928 Death date: February 02, 2010 Obituary: John F. Keigher, 81, of Nashua, died at Bedford Hills Nursing Home in Bedford on Tuesday, February 2, 2010. He was born in Joliet, IL on May 29, 1928, a son of the late Thomas and Rita (Naughton) Keigher. Mr. Keigher was a Technical Engineering writer for the former Sanders Associates for 20 years. Jack is remembered for his great sense of humor and a strong intellectual curiosity. He spoke well on all topics from flowers and trees to the physics of space. He could tell a story to his eager audience of friends and family. He was a gentle man who will be missed greatly by his family and all who knew him. He was a veteran of United States Air Force He was a graduate of Riverside-Brookfield HS, Riverside, IL and earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois Benedictine University. He is survived by his step-sister, Linda Ramey; 1st cousin, Florence Lyons; and many 2nd cousins including, Tony Lyons, Pat Lyons, Mary Lyons, John Lyons, Maureen Lang and Rita Fabek. Visitation: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Monday from 10 – 12 AM. Service: A Funeral Service in his honor will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME on Monday at Twelve o’clock. Friends are invited to attend. Cemetery: Interment prayers and burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua. |
