Charles J. Johnson Jr., 77 of Nashua, NH died Wednesday February 3, 2010 at his home. He was born March 29, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA. son of the late Charles J. and Margaret B. (McKee) Johnson. He was predeceased by a son, Charles Johnson III, who died in 1995. Prior to his retirement in 1999, Mr. Johnson worked in sales and management for Johnston Industries. After residing in Pennington, NJ for 32 years, Charles moved to NH 12 years ago to be closer to his daughter and granddaughters. He was a lover of “fine cigars” and enjoyed running, well before it became popular. He will be remembered by those who knew him as having a unique sense of humor, an eclectic art collection, and a weakness for stray animals. Among other roles, he was a terrific grandfather to his granddaughters. Survivors include one daughter, Bernadette Johnson, of Hollis, NH. and three granddaughters, Cardin Kennedy, Leda Kennedy and Fiona Kennedy, all of Hollis, NH. as well as numerous friends.
