Name: Ronald L. (Levesque) Roy Dates: Birth date: June 05, 1932 Death date: January 30, 2010 Obituary: Ronald L. (Levesque) Roy, 77, a Nashua native, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital January 30, 2010 after a period of declining health. Ronald was born in Nashua NH on June 5, 1932, son of the late Juliette (Renaud) Roy and adoptive son of the late Henry Roy. Ronald graduated from Nashua High School, class of 1950. He served with the US Army in Austria in 1953, and he was honorably discharged in 1954. He was employed at the Nashua Telegraph for many years in the Advertising Department and for many years at P.E. Fletchers. He retired in 1997 from the City of Nashua, School Department. Ronald always enjoyed woodworking, fixing things, daytrips with his family and taking care of his yard. Ronald is survived by his wife, Betty, with whom they had just celebrated their 55th anniversary in October, 2009, his daughter Debbie and her husband Robert Wright of North Las Vegas NV, his daughter Kathy Roy of Nashua NH, a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mandeville, a niece, a nephew and cousins. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1 Bedford Farms Dr Suite 105, Bedford NH 03110. Service: Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. |
