She was born in the Philippines on December 17, 1925, daughter of the late Arturo and Angelina (Ligon) Beltran. She was raised and educated in the Philippines. She was the wife of the late Jose Suva Viola. Mrs. Suva Viola was a merchant in the Philippines before moving to the United States with her husband in 1985. She was a best friend to her children, grandchildren, and everyone she knew, young and old alike. She had a good heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and much wisdom. Mrs. Suva Viola enjoyed cooking traditional Filipino foods and desserts for her family and friends.
She is survived by her four children: Zenaida Ligon (Manchester, NH), Susana Mangona (Michigan), Alexander Suva Viola (Philippines), and Olivia Babala (Nashua, NH); seven grandchildren: Gerald, Victor, Katherine, Pia, Alexis, Alec, Jose; and two great-grandchildren. Memorials: Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Mrs. Suva Viola’s memory to St. Joseph Hospital Palliative, Circle of Life Program, c/o Oncology Center, 172 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH 03060. Visitation: Visiting Hours will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 4-8 PM at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., Nashua. Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick Parish, 29 Spring Street, Nashua on Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Cemetery: Interment prayers and burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson. |
